I thought up the idea for Barden Hughes: Suburban Investigator while I was visiting my family in upstate NY. It’s about a private eye that chooses the worst, most unexciting place to practice detective work: suburbia. This is the intro I shot in an afternoon with my brother and the very talented Leland Colburn.

Wrote the concept for this, then shot it and edited it today. This is my first attempt at comedy. I’m glad I’ve gotten to create something over my winter break. Feels like a big accomplishment, even though it’s a relatively short video. I am very interested in making another episode if there’s interest.

I just made a quickie 2009 demo reel today. Here’s to landing new projects to work on!
