I feel like I do a lot of thinking in the shower. I was just thinking to myself this evening, gee, wouldn’t it be cool if I had been able to receive announcements over an iPhone instead of the intercom during high school.

Then I thought, this could have a dramatic impact. Imagine being able to receive school cancellations, club meeting time changes, announcements, reminders, assignments all on an iPhone or something similar. Each student would be given one, just like they used to hand out those TI-83 graphing calculators.

If money is the primary boundary, I think it’s only a matter of time an PDA-like device becomes priced like a graphing calculator.

Ironically, after getting out of the shower, I took a glance at my iGoogle page to see this Reuters headline. I thought this was extra cool because it’s happening here in Boston.

I just got my SGpro r3 yesterday as well as my IndirailsPROxv sm system. I will be heading home to NY to try out various 35mm lenses.

I’ll definitely post some pictures up here soon. It’s a solid system and I’m really excited to start using it.

If you are like me and use computers a lot, you likely get a lot of your computer parts at Newegg. It is by far, across the board, the most pleasant shopping experience online that I know of in terms of shipping speed, returns, site usability, and customer service.

I am on the bus from NYC back to Boston. Everything is jolly good, except for the unpleasant smells emanating from the person in front of me every 10 mins. I can hardly breathe! But there is no where to go!

Also, the same two people keep making trips to the bathroom (which is 4 feet away) about every 10 minutes as well.

I am starting to feel sick. 1:30 to go!! AHHHhhh!!!

Computer-generated effects are used only when absolutely necessary. The footage was shot on film instead of digital format. Cinematographer Janusz Kaminski painstakingly studied the first three movies in order to preserve the style of previous cinematographer Douglas Slocombe (who is now retired). I had my doubts having seen the trailers that the sequel would have loads of CG, and basically ruin the experience, much like the newest Star Wars films did for me. Having read some reviews that said the latest Jones movie is light on plot, heavy on action, I’ve been a little anxious. However, if this fun fact is true, my hope may be restored!
